A b o u t
What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject.
XXXHOLiC
XXXHOLiC is an ongoing manga series by CLAMP with 9 volumes so far. Recently it has been made into an anime and the first season has ended with 23 episodes. A second season is said to be in the making but nothing concrete yet. The series focuses on the lead, Watanuki Kimihiro, as he works for Yuuko in her shop in return for his wish: to not let him see spirits again. From there we are introduced to several side characters like Doumeki, Himawari etc as well as Yuuko's other customers and spirits. The plot does seem to be digging deeper into aspects like Doumeki and Himawari's role.
Kagerou
Kagerou is the 2nd ending theme song for the anime series by BUCK-TICK. It was first aired on the episode 14. The anime video has a simple black background but animations of Maru, Moro and later Mokona playing the guitar and drums (though the instruments aren't there XD).
Why Kagerou?
I LOVE this song. In fact I love all the XXXHolic songs thus far but Kagerou really struck me. It's just so addictive and haunting with a unique taste - especially with the singer's distinct voice. Kagerou has such poetic lyrics as well, I especially love the chorus. I feel that somehow it feels so XXXHolic too~ I've never heard of BUCK-TICK before but from this song alone, they just rock.
Why Within a Dream?
It's something I got from the lyrics. In the chorus a favourite line of mine reads "yume ni yume ni yume miru" - meaning "I'll see you in a dream within a dream, within a dream" (translated by Mishicorp). So there. ^_~
Version 1?
Not something I quite had in mind at first, I admit. But it turned out well enough PLUS it was really simple. I didn't add fancy touches and all because the image was already so nice - scanned from the single. So I just touched up a few areas to give that 'XXXHolic' feel. XD
This layout is best viewed at a 1024 x 768 resolution and was tested in both IE and Mozilla Firefox. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2, CSS, tables.
Credits
The images was scanned by AznMp3 and screencapped by Mishicorp's subbed video. and the brushes are from The Magic Box. Fonts used: Japanese Brush, AdvoCut and Ernest.
R u l e s
1) You must support the song Kagerou. If not then why are you here?
2) You must list your real country (not things like Yuuko's Shop!) and be specific (no United Kingdom).
3) You need to list a name, but not necessarily your real name. But names like fUnKyGaL01 will be edited.
4) An email is not required. But if you do, please provide a valid email. Nothing else.
5) You do not need a site to join but if you do it must be a working one. And upload the code into your own server and link back HERE. Also, put it up either before you join the fanlisting or immediately after you join the fanlisting. If not I will not list your site.
6) Absolutely no direct linking to anything on this site!
7) If your site is porn/hentai/hate/racist site, do not put it down in the join/update/edit form. If you still do, I will not list it.
8) If your site/email changes and I find out it is not working, I will remove it from the list. You will have to fill out the update/edit form with your new working site/email.
