Relationships
[+] Airi
Jeile takes a huge liking to Airi. When he first meets her, she hits him (after all, she's only wearing a towel). Surprisingly, he doesn't mind this first 'special' treatment. He even enjoys it (masochism?). He's obsessed with what he loves (so far victims include Aram), which brings us to Airi. His room is filled with photos of her. Jeile names her 'Moutain Lily Maiden', viewing her as rough but strong. Apparently he names all the girls he like as flowers. Airi is his recent favourite, to the point of wanting to take her as his first wife. (But of course, that doesn't happen)
He has more sense in this relationship too (aka it isn't just a fling). Take the example when Aram loses his memory of Airi (Jeile has no involvement in this). Airi tries to solve things but is quite powerless in Astella. Jeile is the one helping her. He always respects her. When Aram unintentionally suggests to Airi to be his 2nd wife, Jeile tells him to not insult her. Clearly, he cares. He also gives her up to let her be with Aram for her own happiness.
It does looks like these brothers are against each other. But actually Jeile loves Aram (maybe too much) and finds him very cute (to the extent that he can rub Aram's cheeks a thousand times a day). Initially, Jeile fears his step-mother, but upon seeing baby Aram he quickly erases them all. Why he cast such a spell is due to the fact that he feels that Aram doesn't reciprocate his feelings. However, Aram feels that it's plain harassment. Plus, Jeile is somewhat jealous of Aram getting his beloved father's attention. (a hilarious example: Jeile loves playing with his father's beard, and he says that even Aram stole that) Let's just say there's a huge misunderstanding between them.
It seems that later on, they get along better. Jeile learns to think more for Aram (when he's not thinking for Airi). He also oversees their wedding at the end. Sadly, he commits another half-baked spell (for the sake of Airi) at Aram's expense. The brothers have a long way to go~
It doesn't look like they have much interaction now. But they do have a past together (more on Jeile's part). Lei is in fact Jeile's first crush. At 12, Jeile meets Lei in the royal garden and takes a liking to the 'girl' (To top off Lei's feminine features, he had long hair too). So Jeile offers a rose, which Lei accepts. Later on, Lei is formally introduced as Aram's caretaker by the Queen. The rose on Lei catches the Queen's attention and Lei explains that Jeile was the one who gave it, adding that he hopes Jeile didn't confess to him thinking that he was a girl. Poor Jeile was taken aback that his first crush was a guy and denies it strongly.
He vows not to make such a mistake again. As a result, Jeile has become frivalous and openly offers roses to all the girls he likes.
Maruru is the fairy faithfully serving Jeile. But there's a reason behind this - she owes her life to him. Faries are supposed to find a single flower to depend on and live on for the rest of their lives. However, Maruru mistook a floral pattern on a ribbon on Jeile's teddy bear soft toy, as a real flower. Thus, he discovered her there.
Jeile consulted research books and cast a spell, allowing half of his powers to be given to her. So Maruru depends on him, sharing her life with his. He was criticised for this by his trainer, who said that they had to now depend on Aram as the successor to the throne. Jeile disregarded that view, saying that he just had to become stronger. He did so with 10 years of training and eventually took over his father's reign as promised.
In return, Maruru cares a lot for Jeile. She can cast simple spells (such as changing Airi's clothes). She also seems to understand Jeile best, knowing that he still had feelings for Airi, and advised him to forget her (which he did so eventually). At the end, she turns into her adult form, as all fairies do (thanks to Jeile).
Jeile's wife. Being Lei's older sister, they look very alike. So Jeile has trouble accepting her. As a result, Nei feels distressed and sometimes hides behind a mask. Jeile doesn't seem to mind Nei tagging along sometimes (such as him escaping from the ceremony and changing both of them into child-like forms). Things take a turn when Maruru is in pain. Nei is concerned while Jeile explains that it's merely time for her to turn into her adult form. He also sees her hiding behind a mask and tells her to be more confident, since she will be the future queen.
She takes the step to ask him later what's his favourite flower and he replies that it's the rose. So she says that she'll be White Rose and Maruru says that she'll be Pink Rose. At the end, we see that they're happily married with two adorable children - a hyper one taking after Jeile and a quiet one taking after Nei.
